Domestic Violence

BLYTHE, Calif On Tuesday, April 4 at 3:21 in the afternoon, Blythe Police responded to the 2200 block of Hidden Springs after getting a domestic violence call. When they arrived, they spoke with a Child Protective Service (CPS) worker who had made the report while making a home visit.

Officers learned that 27 year old Francisco Manjarrez and his 29 year old girlfriend had got into an argument. The argument turned physical and his girlfriend had injured her right arm and neck.

Manjarrez was arrested for domestic violence and taken to the Police Department for further investigation. He was later booked into the Blythe jail for domestic violence.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
