County Dog-License Amnesty

October 11, 2012

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif – Owners of altered or unaltered dogs residing in unincorporated areas of Riverside County who are not current with their dog license have until Oct. 31 to take advantage of an amnesty.

Riverside County Animal Services offers this program to encourage those who have fallen behind in their responsibility to catch up without getting hit in the wallet. The offer is only valid for dog owners who do not have any outstanding citations for failing to license their dog. A one-year license for an altered dog is $16. A one-year license for an unaltered dog is $100. All dogs must be vaccinated for rabies. The easiest and fastest way for dog owners to get their license updated is to use the county’s Web licensing program at www.rcdas.org.
