Blythe Middle School Graduation

BLYTHE, Calif On a warm evening on Thursday, the stands were packed at Scott Football Stadium for the annual Promotion of the eight grade class on to High School. Clad in matching green BMS T-Shirts, the students, faculty, administration and Board marched down the field in unison for a brief ceremony.

Principal Lisa Schlehuber introduced students Caylin Cavasos and Kailey Lee, who led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance after the JROTC Color Guard once again trooped in the colors. Teacher Danielle Sichterman introduced the high achievers worthy of academic awards. One by one, students Caylin Cavasos, Andrew Cortez, Destiny Rivera, Cameron Koerner, Emily McCoy, Toni Watts, Alicia Humphrey, Daniel Barela, Christian Cortazor, Kyle Oldham, Karina Rangel, Lauren Hardin, Andrea Gaona, Joshua Januscheski, Robert Garcia, Sergio Murrillo and Ariana Cevallos walked across the stage in recognition. Teacher Willy Krebbers introduced four students as top of the class, namely; Christian Castro, Franklin Hughes, Kailey Lee and Kelly Pelicano. Following the presentation of the class to the School Board, Board Member Alice Dean presented Ms. Schlehuber with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation for her work this year.
