BNET Seizes $17,000 & Half Pound of Meth

BLYTHE, Calif On December 20, about 11:15 A.M., the Blythe Narcotic Enforcement Team (BNET) served a narcotic-related search warrant in the 300 block area of North Broadway. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of a half-pound of suspected methamphetamine, $17,000.00 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and items indicative of drug sales.

Personnel from Colorado River Station, Blythe Police Department, Border Patrol, and California Department of Corrections K-9 Units assisted with the investigation. Ernest Leroy Davis III, 24, from Blythe was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for sales, transportation of methamphetamine for sales, maintaining a place where drugs are used/sold, felon in possession of ammunition, and committing a felony while out on bail.

The following people were contacted outside the residence and subsequently arrested for various drug crimes:

  • Stephanie Hope Adkins, 47, from Blythe was arrested for under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • Darrick Terrell Moses, 32, from Blythe was arrested for two misdemeanor warrants and under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • Fausto Loureiro Jr., 28, from Blythe was arrested for under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Frank Watkins, 56, from Blythe as arrested for under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Stephen Louis Seirsdale, 22, from Blythe was arrested for under the influence of a controlles substance.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.


BNET is a multi-agency narcotic task force participated in by law enforcement agencies in the Blythe, Palo Verde Valley area. BNET's primary mission is to disrupt narcotic sales and diminish the availability of those drugs, thereby increasing public safety. Citizens are encouraged to report drug activity or information that could lead into the arrest of subjects involved with any criminal activity.
