Attempted Murder in Ripley

April 28, 2012

RIPLEY, Calif On April 24 about 9:53 in the evening Sheriffs deputies from the Colorado River Station responded to a report of male with a gunshot wound near the 24000 block of Neighbors Boulevard in Ripley.

Cal-Fire and AMR units also responded. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a 41-year-old Hispanic male adult, from Ripley, had been struck with a single gunshot in the back area. The male was air-evacuated to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, where is he listed in critical but stable.

No further information was provided at the time of publication. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Colorado River Station at 760-921-7900.
