32 Arrested in Parole & Probation Compliance Sweep

BLYTHE, Calif – On Wednesday, January 18 the Blythe Narcotic Enforcement Team (BNET) conducted a parole/probation compliance check and arrest warrant sweep in the Blythe area. The operation resulted in 32 arrests, 10 of them felonies with the rest misdemeanors. Those arrested were booked into the Riverside County Blythe Jail for felony arrest warrants and/or new violations. They are:>

  • Audelio “Lelo” Solorio, 33, from Blythe, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, child endangerment, maintaining a residence where narcotics are sold, under the influence of a controlled substance, and conspiracy.

  • Victoriano Nunez, 41, from Blythe, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, under the influence of a controlled substance, child endangerment, maintaining a residence where narcotics are sold, and conspiracy.

  • Renee Rivera Solorio, 33, from Blythe, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, under the influence of a controlled substance, child endangerment, maintaining a residence where narcotics are sold, and conspiracy.

  • Gary Lambert, 48, from Blythe, was arrested for possession of unauthorized ammunition by a convicted felon.

  • Rudy “Shorty” Armstrong, 53, from Blythe, was arrested on a felony fugitive arrest warrant issued by a court from the state of Arizona.

  • Jesus Octavio Morales, 25, from Blythe, was arrested on a two felony arrest warrants for drug possession and domestic violence and a misdemeanor warrant for driving under the influence.

  • Veronica Salinas, 36, from Blythe, was arrested on a felony drug arrest warrant for drug possession and a misdemeanor warrant for under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • Alejandro Garcia, 35, from Blythe, was arrested on a felony drug arrest warrant and violation of parole.

  • Two juveniles were arrested on local felony arrest warrants and transported to Indio Juvenile Hall by Riverside County Probation.

  • Twenty-two other subjects were also arrested on misdemeanor warrants and/or new violations and booked into the Blythe Jail.

The following agencies assisted in the operation: Colorado River Station, Coachella Valley Narcotic Task force (CVNTF), Riverside County Probation, California State Parole, United States Border Patrol, Blythe Superior Court, and Blythe Jail. BNET would like to thank the assisting agencies for helping make this operation safe and successful.

Persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.


BNET is a multi-agency narcotic task force participated in by law enforcement agencies in the Blythe, Palo Verde Valley area. BNET's primary mission is to disrupt narcotic sales and diminish the availability of those drugs, thereby increasing public safety. Citizens are encouraged to report drug activity or information that could lead into the arrest of subjects involved with any criminal activity.
