BLYTHE, Calif NextEra Energy Resources presented Dr. Norman Guith, Palo Verde Unified School District Board President, a $10,000 check to bring new computers to Appleby Elementary, where most classrooms have severely outdated devices.

NextEra Energy Resources is building and owns the Genesis Solar Energy Project, 20 miles west of Blythe, and is also the majority owner of Desert Sunlight Solar Farm, being constructed near Desert Center. These projects represent over a thousand construction jobs to date and billions of dollars in investment in the county.
